Lovely cafe had a very nice latte and enjoyed it outside (seating indoors and out) - they have local flour and some gifts amd choccys too.

Thankyou!
What a wonderful local jewel of an establishment. I stopped in here for a coffee on my way to work and from the moment I walked in I was greeted by a lovely friendly chap (Brendon) who served me a lovely cappuccino to go. My drink was perfectly made, fresh and tasty. Highly recommended Comestibles when visiting Midhurst. 😊

We stopped in Midhurst for a lunch break and saw this deli had a couple of tables inside, so decided to try it. What a good decision that was! We both chose jacket potatoes with coronation chicken. The potatoes were very soft and tasty and the filling plentiful and really good. The salad was very fresh and had a very nice dressing on it, all for £7.50 each! The service was also very quick and it was dog friendly too. Highly recommend!- Service

Thankyou, very kind.
Fantastic cafe. Been visiting for years. Whilst the proprietor, Brandon, is not necessarily a ‘people person’, the food is top notch and his service staff are friendly and efficient. Overall it’s a gem of a place, where standards are placed well above atmosphere and pretentiousness.

Thankyou.
A top spot, lovely tables outside in the square, good food and friendly service. Clearly a local favourite and clear why.

We stopped in Midhurst for short break and a quick lunch and found Comestibles by chance. What a wonderful surprise! The venue was tastefully decorated, clean and had a friendly and inviting atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by the lady at the counter and she provided us with menus and a table. My order was a little unusual, but they were happy to oblige. I had a greek salad with my mozzarella and sucak panini. Both of these items were delicious! I cannot recommend them highly enough. When next we pass though Midhurst I look forward to dinning there again!- Food

We called in for a late lunch and were served two bowls of the most delicious soups we’ve ever tasted - Carrot & Coriander and Tomato, Basil & Celery. The coffee was excellent too and we were served by delightful staff. Will recommend to friends and return ourselves for more of that gorgeous soup.

Lovely smallish cafe with shop run by very charming, attentive people. Coffee and sandwiches/cakes were very good. It is not on the main road so parking is in front the door with a relaxinf view onto the church behind and even pavement seating if the sun is out. Full marks, thank you, we will be back.
